The Bungle Bungles (Purnululu) - Sun 5th August
Rather than pay to stay in the Bungle Bungle Caravan Park we elected to squeeze ourselves into a brilliant site in the Spring Creek Rest Area.
The 53km dirt road into Purnululu National Park was fairly demanding, with several creek crossings. But we made it to see these extraordinary rock formations.
I did the 2.1km walk into stunning Cathedral Gorge and the Piccaninny Creek lookout.
Just to prove I really was there ...
